Two more for trade.

The lady holding the umbrella looks so contiplatve, I had to put the monkey just peeking out of thought. I think she is on her way to a mall. The girl and dog are one of my favorite images from an old postcard. If you like any of these contact me for trade. Maybe you have some extra from a trade.

Happy 97th Birthday Grandma!

This is my dads mom. Tressa has lived to be 97 and still healthy. Her and my Grandpa used to sing and play guitars for pleasure. Of course they loved that country music. I will think of it as folky music.
Still getting around and loves to go for rides in the car. Here's to you grandma. Love you.

Happy Memorial Day

My grandfather Thomas Beamish. I didn't know him but remember my mom telling me that when he was in the hospital just before he died, he wanted to come home to see me. I was only a baby. So I know he's part of my spirit. Here's to all the vets today in all our families.

Angelic Pre-School Graduate..

My beautiful grandaughter graduated from her pre-school. Her mother caught this great pose and I am so proud of her. They made their shirts for the occasion.

Two more almost done.

I just have to put finishing touches on these. The lady was a drawing I found with no color. So I enlarged and penciled in the colors I liked, added a brush and now had a unique image. If you are interested in trading, check post below for e-mail address. More to come.

Artist Trading Cards-Sneek Peek...

These are a few of the new ATC's that I have been working on. I already have two more coming soon. I will have 6 new ones by June. If there are any traders that would like to exchange with me then e-mail me at . I will be able to trade 4 to 6 different ones for your different 4 to 6. I seal mine and cut all the stuff out plus embellish. None are exactly alike but I do make several of the same for trading. It is so much fun again. I can't believe I stopped.

My Paris Apartment...

This is my work in progress. I made an Apartment in Paris book for my niece one Christmas and decided I also wanted one. They are turning out to be different but with the same theme.

Believe it or not I am going to put pictures of all my pets I've ever had in this book lounging around on the furniture. This is how I imagine heaven-Paris and Pets.

Inside the cover.

I have got a lot more to put in this, later I will show a page done with animals included.

This is the back inside cover. It was fun finding elegant, and colorful paper for the pages. Now the real fun begins. Substance and detail. Hope you enjoy. Some of the pictures turned out too small but if you click on the picture itself you should be able to see the detail better enlarged.

Getting back to taking pictures,,,

I love how this turned out. I will frame this someday. I used to take pictures a lot more than I do now. ATC making and antiqueing has been more on my lists. But how great it is to get back to it.
This little bird is always waiting by my kitchen window in the morning. Happy day.

Enhanced the colors on this one. Did you ever wake up feeling like this? Allergies bah!

Ruby didn't want to be left out.

Iron works.

Sweet Kitty Card...

This cute little card came from my parents for mothers day. They know I have recently given up sugar. March 20 to be exact. Almost 2 months now. Almost. Thanks for your encouragement. It really is poison to me, the sugar not the encouragement.

Yet one more famous mother...

Don't feel too sorry for the dog as the 'tail' grows you do find that the dog prevails.

Not the most beautiful mother...

No not so cute in the face but looks happy at heart. My own mother got me into the mother goose art. She had a mother goose book that had the poetry in full. They are much longer in length than most of us know. I found an old book for her at Christmas that had great pictures. We are still looking for one that has all the original poetry, that is older. In the mean time I developed a love for the illistration. Here is one for you mom riding the goose, but since it is melodies, I bet it's not the one you had either. Mother goose looks witch -like but the goose is cute.

Famous Mother Goes On Adventure...

Challenge: All mothers take an adventure or a different kind of ride today. Let's do one thing different than we usually do. Make a little memory or look for the unusual event and savor.

Love Those Shoes!

Isn't she great? Any one out there know what kind of ball or toy she has in her hand?

Follow up from yesterday:

Sonia in the corner, wouldn't sit with us for the Christmas picture at my folks house, but it makes a cute shot anyway. More tales of Sonia to come, but I had to add this to yesterdays post.

Beautiful Complex Sonia...

If you get out the camera, Sonia hides behind the couch, wall, table or nearest spot out of view. This is the dog that I found for my parents and talked them into adopting. She is smart and very deep. Ever since loosing her buddy Barkley to old age she has been sort of lost. She is going on more rides and getting special attention. I had to sneek up and take this as she tried to hide under my dad's legs. Ruby doesn't think she's that special, but we do.
