Remember My Paris Apartment (w/pets).

I have been working on adding the pets and trims. Here are a few pages with the crew. This big lovable boy is Pappy. Short for Pappion my social butterfly. He is the only one allowed out of the yard to visit the neighbors (most knowing Pappy's name before mine.) He is the oldest at 17.

This is Charlie (female). She is 16 years old and a Manx (no tail). She has an extreme flight and fright reflexes. If there is a loud noise, she is under the bed. Charlie loves attention.

This little baby (Mia), lives in heaven, which by the way is Paris! If you hold your fingers 4 inches apart, that is how long her head was in this picture. She was the most loving creature in my life. She was an Italian Greyhound. Beautiful dogs.

Pajama party!

More to come later. Have a good weekend.

Ouch!!! Ouch!!! Ouch!!!

I hurt myself and have been mending my rib area. I guess I pulled a muscle around my rib area and couldn't do any thing! That's my excuse for not posting in twelve days! I have never gone so long between posts in the last year I have been blogging. I can not believe it has been a year already. Well I am healed and ready to get back to my regular life.
This is an old scrap book cover with nice old wear and aging. Isn't it great! (rummage sale find). Hope you can use as something, thought I would share. P.S. I almost have all the Atc's for the Easter trade, if you want to join in get me 6 cards by April 1st. They sure are great so far!

Does any body remember this? It brings me right back to the late 1960's. And it is green! Have a grateful, peaceful, Sunday!

Altered Book Idea...

Every Easter since my granddaughter was born I have given her a special bunny-rabbit. I think I will start an altered book of rabbit art and tidbits. This whole page will be in there. It was so cute I thought I would pass it on.

Lady Lavery as Kathleen Ni Houlihan...

Oil on Canvas by Sir John Lavery in 1923. According to the book of poems this came out of, this image was used on Irish currency. I just think it is beautiful. Courtesy of The Central Bank of Ireland, Dublin.

Chick's etching...

This was on the cover of an old magazine. Aren't they sweet? I still need one more atc trader! See earlier post.

Color tinted sepia print mounted on stamped background.

I made this Atc and loved tinting the image with pencil. Now I think it would be good as a larger collage. Now where did I get this image from? Sooner or later I'll run across it!

REVERIE by Marjorie Robinson

I found this picture in a poetry book. It is a watercolor on ivory. 1914 It resides in the Ulster Museum, Belfast. Fitting for the first day in March. I still could use a few more people in the Atc trade for Easter. Anyone willing to get in the Easter card making mood?
