I've been out of town. This time of year I do a lot of short trips with the relatives from Michigan. I would like to get an Atc Easter trade going. Any one out there willing to sign up? Let me know if there is any interest? I would need to get your 6 by April 1st. So I can get them back out to you by Easter.
Here in Arizona we don't really have winter blizzards down in the deserts. But once in a while we have 5 minutes of pink clouds just before the sun sets. This was the view from my kitchen window yesterday.
I wish we always had pink clouds, but then I would be taking pictures of the white ones!
These two are snipped from Reminisce Magazine. I looked for paper with yellow and red, no luck. I will probably go to fabric as a back ground. I love red and yellow for Easter too. Hopefully more yellow paper to come out soon.
I'm trying a little of Sandra Evertson's picture presentation. The technique she uses in her blog is wonderful in showing that the sum of the parts is greater than the whole.
This one is my favorite.
She has a way of telling a story along with her pictures that I admire but am in need of practice.
Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad.
Happy Birthday Susan! (early)!
My Aunt Sharon and Uncle Jay spend the winter with me so we will get to celebrate together!
This dog is an estate find that will be going into my booth at the Antique Plaza in Mesa. (plug)
I love the pinks!
I love old hankies.
Here's the whole. Having company keeps me busier but I'll try to blog more often. This is dedicated to Kim (Paris Cowgirl). So sorry to hear about your dog. Love you.
I am a mixed media artist born in Michigan and living in Arizona. I work at an antique store in Mesa Az. I have been in retail all my life. I love to decorate, I have done window decorating and have recently put my talents to doing vignettes and painting. I teach classes at Mystic Paper across the street from the Antique Plaza. Some of the art I do: Altered Books, Artist Trading Cards (Atc's), Collage Art, and painting in acrylics.
