I was very surprised to see this was copy written in 1959. I love the pinks in this and the story is funny to me now as the children let in everyone that comes to the door. The story might be different 50 years later.
This is so cute! The lace curtains and shapes seem to be block stamped.
Now if a monkey came to my door I might let him in, as long as he was sweet like this guy.
I had to add this funky chair page. Seems to me it needs to be on an Atc. I will have more in the following days. I am so happy because it is raining here in our dry desert. I hope Cali gets some help from rain to put out the fires too.

Glad you are getting rain, too. We have had some here in Pinetop as well and it is chlly. Have noticed people here just for the weekend have fires going. ( in the fireplace, that is) Smile.
We had a bit of rain in West Texas, too! That storm that was in the Pacific brought us the moisture.
